Blue means Mr. Snow Miser is in the air

Seattle generally doesn’t get too cold, but, like most of the of country, we’re enjoying a nice blast from Mr. Snow Miser (if you like those holiday animations from the 60’s, check this out to see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGRkNaMFp6w)

That reminds me a commonly-asked question about FlyQ EFB:

Q: What are those blue areas on the Nexrad map. 

A: It’s cold air, not precipitation.  You’d see the usual greens, yellows, and reds where there is precipitation.
