Eureka!

It works!!!

For the past several months, a team here has been working on an entirely new type of app — something unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.  After many, many iterations, long theoretical discussions, much head scratching, and many test flights — we have takeoff!  That is, today’s test flight proved that the technology works.  It’s now being turned into a new app that you’ll see very soon.

Stay tuned!

Wish I could tell you more…

Steve

  4. Sounds great.
I would however like to beg, plead and restate a request to have a feature in FlyQ that will record flight dates, locations, # of TO & LND and even better flight track, speeds & altitudes. I would even pay extra!

  5. You should leak some of the details, and I hope it involves support for Connext. Apple does…

Daily people are making decisions and going with another product all due to Garmin Connext. You guys don’t have it and your top TWO competitors do.

I am teaching on a couple products for the FAA Wings program Saturday and wish I could give the audience a reason to lock onto FlyQ .

I can search uspto to see what you guys are up to if the docs have been filed.

    Good luck as you finish.

    • We have a large # of CFIs and students who use FlyQ for the very simple reason that it’s the easiest to use app so you fly the plane, not the iPad. No tiny text, no little buttons you need a Q-tip to tap, etc. Very few taps to get to key info, etc.

  6. I agree Tim. Back-up alternative to ADS-B? Sayyyyy….some way I can see ALL ADS-B traffic (and maybe NEXRAD info) w/o expensive peripherals?

  8. The fact that 24h after the unveiling at Sun’n’Fun no information is found whether on this site, YouTube or other news sites is a little disheartening. You either kept the secret too well or it isn’t as newsworthy as it’s made out to be? Bummed that as a long time believer in this app, and lifetime subscriber, I’m left in the dark about this. Especially when the competition implements digital logbook, 3D flight recorder and engine-out-glide-distance-indicator rings….:/
