The next FAA data cycle begins this Thursday, January 27, 2022. The new data can be downloaded now for the US, Mexico, and Central America. European data will be available shortly. Australian data is unchanged this cycle. Be sure not to fly with this data until January 27.
If you’re using another data provider, check with them about availability.
Important notes for FlyQ EFB user: Please do not download this new data if you plan to fly before next Thursday as the app does not currently have any concept of “current” versus “next” data cycle. However, FlyQ EFB downloads TFRs, fuel prices, and weather automatically so rest assured that this data will always be current even without doing a manual update

Seattle Avionics has approved the use of Apple iOS / iPad OS version 15.2 with FlyQ EFB version 6.0.2 and the current release of FlyQ InSight (4.0.2). Using earlier FlyQ EFB releases with iOS 15 is not recommended due to minor display issues and inability to connect with Avidyne panels.
*Please note that beta (aka “test”) versions of iOS and iPad OS are not finished, have not been fully tested, and contains bugs. Seattle Avionics does not support beta versions of these for use with any of its apps.
With the release of SkyView system software release 16.2.4, Slingshot can now be used to very quickly load SkyView with ChartData via FlyQ EFB. Play the new video to see how it work. You can also watch an earlier video that explains the rationale and benefits (time savings) to using Slingshot.
1. Download the data as you normally would to your iPad or iPhone running FlyQ EFB.
2. Bring your iPad or iPhone into the plane.
3. Press a few buttons on SkyView and transfer the data to your panel. No ChartData Manager, no USB sticks, no downloading the same data twice.
