iOS/iPadOS 17.4.1 Approved for FlyQ EFB

Seattle Avionics recently completed compatibility testing between FlyQ EFB and iOS/iPadOS 17.4.1. We are issuing the “all-clear” to Seattle Avionics customers so please update your iPhone or iPad at your convenience.

How to find the version number for iOS or iPad iOS

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to General
  3. Go to About
  4. The OS version number is under Software Version. Example: 16.6

How to update a Seattle Avionics app

  1. Open the App Store app
  2. Tap the Account icon (your image) at the top right of the page.
  3. Scroll down the Account page and look for the icon associated with the app you want to update. Tap Update.
  4. Note: You can enable your iPad or iPhone to automatically update all your apps. We recommend this feature. To do this:
    1. Open the Settings app.
    2. Select App Store on the left side of the screen.
    3. In the Automatic Updates section, turn App Updates on (green).

How to update iOS or iPad iOS

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to General
  3. Go to Software Update
  4. Tap on Download and Install

*Please note that beta (aka “test”) versions of iOS and iPad OS are not finished, have not been fully tested, and contains bugs. Seattle Avionics does not support beta versions of these for use with any of its apps.
